🔼 Scoring Explosion. Richmond baseball secured the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the Atlantic 10 Championship with one of the wildest wins of the season, a 26-24 thriller over Saint Louis to close the regular season at 33-22. RJ Johnson Jr. led the way with four hits, including a pair of three-run home runs, while Evan Wilson drove in runs with two doubles, and Chris Schaller added a pair of solo shots.

The Spiders trailed 16-9 before erupting for 10 runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead for good. The Spiders open the A-10 Championship on Thursday at 3 p.m. against the winner of VCU and Davidson at Capital One Park.

🔼 Record-Breaking Spider. Richmond senior attacker Alexis Morton capped a record-breaking season with ILWomen Nike Lacrosse Media All-America honorable mention honors, the lone Atlantic 10 player recognized on the list. Morton set the Richmond single-season record with 99 points on 57 goals and 42 assists across 17 games, tying the program's single-game record twice with 11-point performances against VCU and Duquesne. The Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year led the conference with 5.82 points per game and helped power Richmond to a top-10 national scoring offense.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

🔼 Spiders Give Back. Richmond student-athletes spent the 2025-26 school year making a meaningful impact across the greater Richmond community through more than a dozen service efforts. Women's soccer sophomore Logan Jackson led the charge with Street Soccer RVA, bringing Spider athletes to Chimborazo Elementary School for seven straight Fridays to play soccer with local kids, an initiative founded by former Spider star Katie Tritt. SACA president Ronald Anderson coordinated a Soles4Souls shoe drive, collecting more than 100 pairs of sneakers, field day visits to local schools, Best Buddies participation, and a food drive benefiting the Chimborazo Elementary food pantry.

Other highlights included the men's lacrosse team supporting St. Mary's Hospital's guest house, baseball participating in Henrico County's Challenger Day adaptive baseball program, and SAAC delivering over 100 Halloween goodie bags to Tuckahoe Elementary.
