📈 STOCK UP

 🔼 Stars In Class. Richmond women’s basketball is earning recognition for its success in the classroom! The team earned a special mention on the 2024-25 WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll with a cumulative team GPA of 3.492.

🔼 More Recognition. Women’s basketball isn’t the only team at Richmond being recognized for great academic achievements! The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association named Richmond to its Academic Squad. To be eligible, teams must post a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Nine individual Spiders also earned honors on the IWLCA’s Division I Academic Honor Roll.

The spotlight is on 36 today with 36 days left until the Spiders take the field. The most all-purpose yardage in a single game in football program history came in 1987 when one player posted 365 total yards. Can you name him?

🔼 Preseason Awards. Five Spiders have earned the first Patriot League Preseason All-League honors for Richmond! Captains and offensive linemen Gabriel Carbajal and Scott Hummel earned All-League Offensive recognition in tandem with tight end Sean Clarke, while linebacker and captain Carter Glassmyer and defensive end Camden Byrd received All-League Defensive honors. Richmond is set to play its inaugural season in the Patriot League.
