⚽️ Spiders earn a Senior Day victory
🏈 Another look at the Camp Notebook
🕷️ And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Senior Day Dubs. Richmond soccer picked up its second win of the season on Senior Day with a 1-0 victory over Howard. Forward Abby Dillon scored the game’s only goal in the 13th minute who slotted home the ball into an open net from a well-executed corner kick. The Spiders’ undefeated start through three matches is the first since the 2008 season when the team started 3-0. Richmond will continue its homestand on August 29 as the team welcomes Wake Forest to President's Field at 5 p.m.

🔼 Camp Notebook. Richmond football is just five days away from returning to the gridiron. As the team creeps closer to its season opener, get familiar with the roster with some help from the Camp Notebook which breaks the team down position by position.

👐 The Richmond wide receivers will return every wide receiver who recorded a touchdown a year ago. One of the Spiders’ largest and deepest position groups, Richmond currently carries 11 wide receivers on its roster, led by none other than No. 11, Nick DeGenarro.

💥 The Richmond linebackers have the tall task of replacing one of the best to ever put on a jersey for the Spiders, Tristan Wheeler. Players, both new and old, have stepped up to fill the giant-sized shoes, and one of those players is captain Wayne Galloway.

5 days until kickoff, Spider fans!

In each of the last two seasons, Richmond football has won nine games and has made it to the second round of the FCS Playoffs. This season, the Spiders head into the season opener ranked No. 12 in the AFCA Coaches Poll in the seventh year under head coach Russ Huesman.
