🔼 Leg Power. Punter Aaron Trusler has been named to the FCS Punter of the Year Watch List. Trusler punted 63 times for 2,168 yards in 2023. He had a long of 76 yards while averaging 41.6 yards a punt. He had a CAA-high of 26 inside the 20-yard line. 🏈 Read more about Trusler and the award.

🔼 Mark the Calendar. The cross country schedule has been released! You can watch the Spiders compete at the very first event, the Spider Alumni Open, on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville. They compete again at Pole Green Park on Nov. 2 for the Atlantic 10 Championships. 👟 Get more information about the schedule.

King of Spain. Men’s basketball player Jordan King signed his first professional contract with UA Fundacion Lucentum Alicante of Spain’s Tercera FEB. He is the third member of the 2024 team to begin his professional career. King averaged 18.0 points and 2.5 assists per game. He was second in the Atlantic 10 in three-point FG percentage and third in scoring. 🏀 Read more about King.
