🔼 Road Dub. The football team battled Delaware State and finished with a 38-24 victory. Andrew King had his first collegiate touchdown. Landon Ellis recorded his first 100-yard receiving game and scored his first touchdown of the season. Camden Coleman threw for more than 300 yards in the air. Zach Palmer-Smith ran in three touchdowns. 🏈 Here’s more about the win.
🔼 Weekend Win. The field hockey team took down Saint Louis 3-1 for its fifth win of the season and first win of conference play. Avery Russell scored two goals, and Alexa Derr scored one. Goalkeeper Kristen Rake made three saves. 🏑 Read more about the win.
🔼 Down One. The soccer team lost its first conference game against Dayton 4-0. The Spiders had eight shots, and four were on goal, but none with the luck of hitting the net.

Score Score Score. The Spiders have scored at least 38 points in back-to-back games for the second time in eight seasons under coach Russ Huesman.

In the Top 10. The men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in the top 10 at the NC State Adidas XC Challenge. The men placed eighth among 14 teams, and the women placed ninth. Laurel Kurtz led the women with an 18:12.3 5k time. She finished 40th individually. William Marhold finished 47th individually in the 6k race with a time of 19:02.3. 👟 See more of the athlete’s times here.
