🔼 Finest Freshmen. The men’s golf team competed at the Wofford Intercollegiate and finished in third place with a score of 854 (+14). Freshmen Quin Polin and Jack LaPiana led the team, placing in the top 12. Polin tied for sixth place with a score of 211 (+1). LaPiana scored 213 (+3), tying for 12th place. These were both of the golfer’s best finishes of the season. ⛳️ See the other golfer’s scores here.

🔼 Skilled Duo. Two baseball players were awarded weekly honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference— Aaron Whitley for Player of the Week and Aidan O’Keefe for Rookie of the Week. Whitley hit .526 with 10 hits, including five for extra bases, five RBIs and seven runs scored. O’Keefe hit .400 with two RBIs, two walks, four runs scored and a hit-by-pitch. ⚾️ Read more about the two athletes here.
🤔 SPIDERS TRIVIA
Weekly Awards. The men’s lacrosse team had two athletes awarded Atlantic 10 Weekly honors. Gavin Creo earned his third Rookie of the Week honor, and another athlete won his first Player of the Week honor.

The SPIDYs. Richmond Athletics hosted the annual SPIDYs Awards to celebrate its accomplishments over the past 12 months. The event showcases the best of Spiders Athletics. Tristan Wheeler and Grace Townsend were named Spider Athletes of the Year. Hannah Antonick won The Outstanding Civic Engagement Award, and so many more athletes were awarded in different categories. 🏆 See all of the athletes who were awarded here.
