🔼 Wrapped Up. The women’s golf team opened its season at the Nittany Lion Invitational. The Spiders shot a 289 (+1) in the final round to have a final score of 878 (+14). The final round score is tied for the seventh-lowest 18-hole team score in program history. The three-round total matched the fifth-lowest 54-hole score in program history. Carter Bransford led the team, tying for 15th place individually.

🔼 Rookie Award. Soccer player Christina Stamoulacatos has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week. She totaled one goal, a game-winner at Radford, for two points and put three of her five shots on goal across a pair of unbeaten matches for the Spiders last week. Stamoulacatos has appeared in all six matches for the Spiders this season and owns one goal on 12 shots, including seven shots on goal.

The field hockey team had two players earn Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honors. Clara Larripa was named the Offensive Player of the Week. She tallied the game-winners against American and Longwood. Abril Peroni earned Rookie of the Week honors. She is second on the team with eight points on four goals in four games this season.
