🔼 Preseason Honors. The men’s lacrosse team had multiple players earn preseason honors. Hunter Smith and Jack Pilling earned Preseason All-American Second Team honors by USA Lacrosse. Aidan O’Neil and Joe Sheridan were recognized as Honorable Mentions. Smith is a defenseman who started all 18 games during the 2025 season. Pilling is a short-stick defensive midfielder who collected 27 ground balls last season. O’Neil led the Spiders with 22 assists in 2025. Sheridan totaled 40 points last season.

🔼 Academic Awards. The swim and dive team was selected as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America. The Spiders posted a 3.79 GPA during the fall 2025 semester.

After averaging 23 points per game and shooting 73.9% from the field, Rachel Ullstrom was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week. She totaled 46 points on the week and connected on 10 three-pointers in Richmond’s victories over Dayton and VCU.
