🔼 Revenge Finished. The women’s basketball team claimed revenge as they drained Duquesne 90-74. The Spiders finished their regular season home slate undefeated, 14-0, which is the first time since the program joined the NCAA in 1983-84. Overall, Richmond has won 21 straight home games, which is the sixth-longest of the NCAA D-I teams. 🏀 Read about the victory here.

🔼 Jumping on Top. The men’s basketball team sits in first place in the Atlantic 10 with a 13-2 record. The Spiders took down Saint Louis 80-64, with all five starters scoring in double-digits. The men shot 51.7% from the field, 57.9% from behind the arc and 77.8% from the free throw line. Jordan King led with 27 points. 🏀 Here’s how the men took the W.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Winning Weinfurther. Senior women’s golfer Rory Weinfurther was named the Patriot League Golfer of the Week. She shot 214 (-2) and led the Spiders to a first-place finish and a program record for lowest team tournament score at the RiverTowne Invitational this past weekend. Weinfurther finished fourth overall individually.
