🔼 Top 8. The men’s golf team finished in eighth place at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, finishing in front of the other four A-10 teams in the field. The team posted an overall score of 867 (+3). Jack LaPiana led the team with an individual score of 210 (-6) to tie for sixth place and capture his first career top-10 finish.

Field hockey player Alexa Derr was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week. This is her first weekly conference honor. She collected her second assist and held La Salle to just six shots with two on goal and three penalty corners. Derr tallied her first defensive save of the season when the goalie was pulled late in the Temple game.

Preseason. Men’s basketball senior Mike Walz has been named to the Preseason All-Atlantic 10 Third team. The Spiders were picked 10th in the conference’s preseason poll. Walz led the team with 5.8 rebounds per game last season. He ranked second on the team with 2.6 assists per game. 🏀 Learn more about Walz.
