🔼 Handling Business. The women’s basketball team beat Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday morning 81-45. The Spiders did not allow the Wildcats to score over 15 points in a quarter. Maggie Doogan led the team with 26 points and 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Rachel Ullstrom tallied a season-high 23 points. The team shot 42.4% from the field.

Women’s basketball player Maggie Doogan continues to rack up awards this season. Doogan earned her fourth Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week honor. She finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in Richmond’s win over Liberty. Doogan ranks among the top 10 in Division I in total field goals, minutes per game and total three pointers.

🕷️ ONE BIG THING

Big Honor. Field hockey player Clara Larripa was named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American Third Team honoree. She is one of 48 national honorees and the first Spider to collect the award since 2015. Larripa is the only athlete chosen from the Atlantic 10 Conference.
