🔼 Duo Threat. Her Hoop Stats named Maggie Doogan and Rachel Ullstrom to the preseason watch list for the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award. The award honors the top mid-major player in the NCAA Division I women’s basketball. Her Hoop Stats recognized 25 student-athletes representing 19 teams and 12 conferences on this year's preseason list. 🏀 Learn more about the players and the award.

🔼 At Home. Did you know that three of this year’s Spiders call the Richmond area home? See Aiden Argabright, Jaden Daughtry, and Donovan Richardson make their Spider debuts Saturday at 6 PM at the Robins Center in an exhibition vs JMU!

🔼 We Know Him! Women’s basketball coach Aaron Roussell was on WRIC ABC 8News! Check out his interview with 8Sports Director Nolan Knight.

🔼 Draw. The soccer team tied Saint Joseph’s 0-0. Both teams had 10 shots and three were on goal. Goalkeeper Veronica Rrapi had three saves. Emma Newman led the team with four shots.

Rookie Dubs. The men’s golf team had one athlete earn weekly honors. Lucas Rizo-Patron was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week. The freshman tied for 11th place in the Bash in the Boro last week. He shot 4-under par. This marked his second top-20 finish of the season. ⛳️ Here’s more about his performance.
