Good morning, Spiders. The men’s and women’s basketball seasons are almost here! And the women’s basketball team is ranked No. 19 in the ESPN Preseason Top 25 Poll. 🔼 Course Report. The women’s golf team wrapped up the Pirate Collegiate Classic on Tuesday. The team finished with an overall score of 908 (+44) in 13th place. Maya Beasley led the Spiders with an individual score of 224 (+8) to tie for 39th place. Addie Doroh tied for 41st place with a score of 225 (+9). ⛳️ See each golfer’s score.

🔼 Multiple Wins. The women’s tennis team hosted the River City Open this past weekend. The team had a total of nine wins. Lainey O’Neil went undefeated in singles play. Elizabeth Novak and Lucy Webber swept both of their doubles matches.

Field hockey player Clara Larripa was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Larripa led the Spiders with five goals last weekend, doubling her season total to lead the team with 10 goals and five assists for 25 points. She tallied four goals in the team’s 5-0 victory against Ball State.

🔼 Home Results. The men’s tennis team wrapped up its home fall event with a solid showing at the River City Open. The men earned three single-match wins on day one and swept all three matches in doubles play. On day two, the team won two singles matches and one doubles match. On Sunday, the Spiders had two singles wins and one doubles win. Charlie Burdell, Nathan Germino, Paxton Pritchard and Sam Rathmanner each have five singles wins this season (excluding A-10 Masters Qualifying).
