🔼 Tourney Wins. The women’s basketball team faced Alabama A&M in its opening game of the 4 Tha Culture Holiday Classic. The Spiders won 72-58 on Saturday. Rachel Ullstrom led the team with 20 points. Maggie Doogan was right behind with 15 points. On Sunday, the Spiders wrapped up non-conference play against Penn State. They won 70-54. Doogan tallied 30 points. Ally Sweeney had a career-high 20 points. Ullstrom recorded her third career double-double.

🔼 Double-Digit Dubs. The men’s basketball team beat The Citadel 80-56 on Saturday. Richmond is now 10-2 overall, equaling the program’s best 12-game start in 21 seasons under Chris Mooney. The men shot 51.8% from the field. Jaden Daughtry led the team with 17 points.
