🕷️ ONE BIG THING

New Spiders. The men’s basketball team welcomes Jack McCaffery to the 2026-27 roster. McCaffery is a 6’9” forward transferring from Butler. Last season, he played nine games before an illness ended his season prematurely. He is expected to receive a medical redshirt and have four seasons of eligibility remaining. McCaffery arrived in Butler following a decorated prep career at Iowa City West High. He was named the 2024-25 Gatorade State Player of the Year after averaging 21.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Richmond also welcomes Andrew Ball. Ball is a 6’9” forward who is transferring from Monmouth. Ball averaged 7.9 points and 3.9 rebounds, both career highs, while appearing in 34 games with nine starts for Monmouth last season.
