Baseball player Evan Wilson was named to the 2026 Perfect Game Collegiate Freshman All-America Second Team as a two-way player. Wilson was the fifth Spider in program history to be named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year. He was third on the Spiders with a .329 average with 49 hits. Wilson had 15 doubles, nine home runs, 36 RBIs, 24 walks, 13 hit by pitches and eight stolen bases in 40 starts.
