📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Championship Dubs. The women’s basketball team is making history! The Spiders broke the program record for the most wins in a season after beating No. 8 Loyola Chicago 70-54. The Spiders then moved on to beat No. 5 Duquesne 80-66. This is the first time the team has been to the A-10 Championship final game since 2009.

And the women did it! They beat Rhode Island 65-51 to win the program’s first Atlantic 10 Conference Championship title. This is the program’s first conference title since the 1991 season in the CAA.

🔼 Starting Strong. The women’s lacrosse team started conference play with a 20-9 win over Duquesne. The Spiders had 41 shots and 21 draw controls. Colleen Quinn led the team with six goals and two assists. Ali Susskind was right behind with four goals. 🥍 Here’s more about the win.

🔼 Split. The men’s tennis team faced Navy in a doubleheader on Sunday. The men won the first match 4-1 but lost the second 3-4. The Spiders dropped the doubles point in each match but made up for it with four wins in the first match. In match two, the Spiders were only able to win three singles.

🔼 One of Three. The baseball team faced Marist this past weekend and won game two on Sunday. The Spiders beat Marist 11-4. Joey Wilga started the first inning with a two-run home run. Jackson Kraemer and Aidan O’Keefe both hit RBI doubles. The bats were making contact all throughout the sixth inning for the Spiders to pull away a win. ⚾️ Here’s more about the game.

History Made. The women’s basketball team broke the record for the most wins in a season, with 27 now. The previous record was 26 games, which happened decades ago.

On the Road. The men’s lacrosse team won its first true road game 14-3 against UMBC on Friday. Dalton Young led the team with two goals and three assists for a total of five points. Henry Alpaugh scored three goals, one on a Spiders extra-man opportunity. 🥍 See who else scored here.
